Upon arrival at Pristina Airport, we will transfer you to Prizren, one of the most beautiful towns in Kosovo, where we will spend two nights. You will take a walking tour of the town, visiting notable landmarks such as the Orthodox Church of “Our Lady of Ljevis,” a UNESCO-listed monument since 2006. Other significant sites include the Sinan Pasha Mosque (built in 1615), the Cathedral of Our Lady of Perpetual Succour, Prizren Fortress, and several other churches and landmarks like the Stone Bridge and the town’s charming bazaar. Overnight in Prizren.
Today, we head to the Sharr Mountains, a stunning natural reserve located between Kosovo and Macedonia, covering an area of 1,600 km². This region is home to 25 lakes situated at 1,900 meters above sea level, a vast variety of plant species (many of them endangered), and a rich ecosystem. The mountains offer breathtaking landscapes, from canyons and rolling hills to forested peaks, making it a perfect spot for nature lovers. The varied topography provides an ever-changing scenery throughout the day. We will return to Prizren for the night.
After breakfast, we travel to the Mirusha Waterfalls, a series of 13 waterfalls along the Mirusha River, located in the south of the Gremnik Mountains. The area features a 10 km-long canyon, rocks, caves, and pools, creating a stunning natural spectacle. Afterward, we head to Istog to explore its beautiful lakes, where crystal-clear waters cascade through a picturesque gorge. This tranquil spot is ideal for sampling fresh trout from the pristine waters. Our journey continues to the Rugova Valley, where we will spend the next two nights in the village of Boga.
After breakfast, we will explore Rugova Valley, one of Kosovo's most stunning natural landmarks. Nestled in the Dukagjin region, this expansive valley is the gateway to the Accursed Mountains, which Kosovo shares with Montenegro and Albania. The area features the Bistrica River, numerous waterfalls, glacier lakes, and caves, making it a paradise for eco and rural tourism. Rugova Valley offers a peaceful retreat with breathtaking scenery and plenty of opportunities for outdoor exploration. Overnight in Boga.
